Comparing with Day 2, Day 3 was an easy day for us. Good time to relax our leg muscles.
It was our second day in the Hill Club. We decided to have western breakfast in the morning.
After breakfast, we went to visit the "
Heritance Tea Factory Hotel" which is located about 14 Km from Nuwara Eliya. . It was a tea factory but had been converted into a 57-room 4-star hotel. The original machinery can be seen everywhere in the hotel, serving as a reminder of the past.

At around 5pm, we left Kandy and travelled some 80KM to John's family Motel U at Udubeddawa - a beautiful bungalow in a coconut plantation. "Motel U" is the name John gave to their bungalow. He told me that the "U" stands for "You" i.e. their bungalow is a motel for you - another illustration of Sri Lankan's hospitality.
John hosted a wonderful BBQ dinner by the lake side for us jointed by his family members.
